Produces an oil very similar to the Atlas cedarwood.  Cedar trees date back to the Bible where they symbolised everything fertile and abundant.

rich, herbaceous, pleasant, smoky, woody-balsamic undertone.

Blends well with
All of the citrus oils, as well as Rosewood, Bergamot, Cypress, Chamomile, Cassia, Jasmine, Neroli, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang.  Base Note for blending.

In India, Himalayan Cedarwood oil has been shown to possess insecticidal and antifungal properties and to have some potential for control of fungal deterioration of spices during storage.  Antiseptic, antiputrescent, antiseborrheic, aphrodisiac, astringent, diuretic, expectorant, fungicidal, mucilytic, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic.  

Balancing, calming, used for concentration and clarity.  

Fragrance component and fixative in household products, soaps and detergents as well as perfumes, especially men's fragrances.

Application
Massage, bath, skin care, hair care, compress, inhalation, meditation, diffuser. 

Non-irritant, non-sensitising.

This essential oil is not TGA Approved, however it is sourced from FPI Oceania and is certified as an Aromatherapy Grade Essential Oil. We bring this oil to your attention as we think it has a lovely smell and its versatility.
