Umber Iron Oxide

Iron Oxides are a colour additive exempt from FDA certification. Iron Oxides are generally naturally occurring non-toxic inorganic mineral pigments sourced from iron and are considered safe for use in colouring products, including cosmetics and personal care products applied to the lips, and the area of the eye, provided they meet certain specifications.

Umber oxide is a highly pigmented oxide for cosmetics and is a composition of red, black and yellow iron oxides.
