Description: A colourless sweet viscous liquid derived from vegetable fats. It is a by-product of the soap-making process, which separates the glycerin from the fatty acids in the whole oil. Also known as glycerine and glycerol.
As it is a humectant, it is used in moisturisers due to it's water binding properties that allow it draw and absorb water from the air. Your formula should never exceed 20% glycerin.
Can also be used in Mist Sprays instead of using a solubiliser.
