Description
A small, wild growing shrub up to 3 m high with pretty white flowers with pink spots near the centre, which has been used in perfumes since the time of Christ and ointments since the Middle Ages.

A dark brown liquid with a strong and sweet scent, Labdanum absolute is extensively used as a fixative in various fragrance applications, as well as being useful in skincare for the treatment of wrinkles, mature skin, and dry skin as well as being effective for chronic skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. 

It is also beneficial in lymphatic drainage massage as it helps reduce swollen lymph nodes.  Tests have shown it to be effective against Staphyloccus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans which makes it a very good oil to use for varicose ulcers and bed sores.

Blends well with Bergamot, chamomile roman, clary sage, cypress, helichrysum, juniper berry, lavender, orange, patchouli, pine needle, sandalwood, vetivert

Avoid during pregnancy.
