Lavender 40/42 Lavendula sp

Lavender Standard 40/42 is a blend of Lavender essential oils that are blended to make sure the aroma is consistent for manufacturing as every yield is different due to weather and soil conditions season to season.

It is a blend of Lavendula angustifolia (True Lavender), Lavindin grosso (Lavendula Hybrida), Lavendula latifolia (Spike Lavender), and Lavender stoechas (Maritime Lavender).

The 40/42 is 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate and the remaining 18% is the remaining constituents found in lavender essential oils.

Lavender treats lung, sinus, and vaginal infections (including candida), and relieves muscle pain, headaches, insect bites, cystitis, and other types of inflammation.  It is also used for digestive disturbances, including colic, and boosts immunity. 

A skin-cell regenerator, lavender prevents scarring and stretch marks, and has a reputation for slowing wrinkles.  It is suitable for all complexion types, as well as for burns, sun damage, wounds, rashes, and skin infections. 

Specific for central-nervous-system problems, lavender has been used to help nervousness, exhaustion, insomnia, irritability, depression, and even manic depression.
