Description:

Marjoram Sweet essential Oil is derived from the plant – a bushy perennial growing up to 60cm in height with a hairy stem, dark green oval leaves and small whitish flowers found in clusters. The entire plant is extremely aromatic.

Aromatic Description: 

The aroma of the oil is warm and spicy, with a hint of nutmeg. It is used in masculine, Oriental, and herbal-spicy perfumes and colognes

Orange, Lavender, Rosewood, Frankincense, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Clary Sage, Basil, Thyme, Cypress, Elemi, Chamomile, spices like Nutmeg or Cardamom and many more

Common Uses: 

A sedative, marjoram eases muscle spasms, including tics and menstrual cramps, and relieves headaches (especially migraines), stiff joints, spasmodic coughs, and high blood pressure. 

It also counters colds, flu and laryngitis, and is slightly laxative. 

Use it on the skin to tend bruises, burns, inflammation, and fungal and bacterial infections. 

A few drops on a vaporizer will also encourage sleep, and a few drops can be added to a warm/hot bath at the first signs of a cold.

Marjoram helps those who feel emotionally unstable, prone to hysteria, physically debilitated, or irritable-especially due to outside stimuli. Use it to ease loneliness, rejection, or a broken heart. (Old texts say that overuse may even deaden the emotions.)
