General Description A relative of Australian Tea Tree, Cajeput has many similar properties. Grown in Indonesia, it has traditionally been used to treat colds, flu and joint pain. It can be used as a disinfectant and is beneficial to help prevent the spread of infection.
Odour Description Penetrating camphorous-medicinal odour similar to Eucalyptus, but slightly milder with a fruity touch.
Uses Massage, inhalation. Warming and relieving. Used as a fragrance and freshening agent in soaps, cosmetics and perfumes.
Blends well with Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Chamomile, Juniperberry, Cypress and Lemon.
Safety Precautions Flammable. May cause skin irritation in some. Use in moderation.
