Description: German chamomile is a rich inky-blue oil with a strong herbaceous medicinal aroma with a fresh fruity undertone.
Major constituents: A typical chemical composition of German Chamomile Essential Oil: chamazulene (2.16-35.59%), a-bisabolol (1.72-67.25%), bisabolol oxide (55.08%), bisabolol oxide B (4.35-18.93%), bisabolol oxide A (63.85%).
Indications: German chamomile oil has traditionally been used to relieve indigestion and for its relaxing and calming properties.
Emotions: The scent of German chamomile is healing and emotionally strengthening.
Skin care: German chamomile oil has traditionally been used for the relief of the symptoms of eczema and dermatitis. It helps soothe rashes and irritated skin.
Directions: Adults: Add 2 drops to every 10ml carrier oil or bath. Children: Add 2 drops to bath or 2 drops to carrier oil, 1-2 times daily
Safety: German chamomile oil is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. Should not be administered to infants under 6 months of age without prior consultation with a health professional.
