Blackstar Green Mica is black with an amazing green shimmer through it. This is an excellent mica to use for all shadows, eyeliners, mascaras, and to darken your powder shades in custom blends.

Merck’s Colorona® Blackstars provide the characteristic magical lustre of black pearls in all the colours of the rainbow. The secret of this effect is the combination of natural mica with an even coat of black iron oxide. Changing the layer thickness of the black iron oxide causes the pigments to glitter just like interference pigments.

Particle size 10-60 microns

It contains 48.0-56.0% iron oxide (CI 77499) and 44.0-52.0% mica (CI 77019). 

Safe for use on face, lips, eyes and nails

1gm available in a clear resealable plastic bag or 5ml styrene plastic cosmetic pot.
5gm & 10gm packaged in a 30ml glass jar with a 0.15cc scoop to make formulating easier.
