This is a clear soap base that is very simple to use, and it doesn't sweat or attract moisture to it like many clear soap bases do. Very easy to work with. Vegetable Based. 1ml = 1gm.Vegetable based. Good transparency enables bright colours. Good foaming. Excellent moisturising from a very high glycerine content which provides a pleasant skin feel. Superior colour stability even if kept at a a high temperature for extended periods. Neutral odour provides excellent fragrance lift. Suitable for slicing and moulding
Chop up and melt over a very low heat, avoid stirring whilst melting as it can add air bubbles to it.
Great fun for kids... add essential oils, dried herbs and flowers and food colours to make fun presents for Christmas... pour into silicone molds for easy removal... chocolate molds work well too!
Glycerine - Humectant, naturally produced during soap making process. Additional glycerine added for moisturizing benefits.
Sodium Stearate and Sodium Oleate - Natural fatty components (from vegetable oils).
Sorbitol - Sorbitol has many uses in consumer products due to its superior ability to retain moisture. We use it in our glycerin soap because of its outstanding moisturizing properties. Sorbitol also provides clarity and translucency to our glycerin soap base.
Stearic Acid - A saturated fat derived from vegetable oils, used to make the soap base firm and stable.
Lauric Acid - Fatty acid derived from coconut oil, for additional emolliency.
