Introduction to Soap Making - 2 day workshop

Introduction to Soap Making – Cold Processed, Melt & Pour:

A basic course for those interested in knowing more about soap making and don’t know where to start.  This course covers:
~ How to use different ingredients, including clays, vegetable oils, essential oils, colours and plants.
~ Therapeutic Uses of essential oils, vegetable oils and clays.
~ Equipment Required
~ Safety Factors
~ How to make Cold Processed Soap (CP)
~ How to make Whipped Soap for decorating with (it's like butter cream icing and can be piped)
~ How to use Melt & Pour Soap (M&P)
~ Instruction Booklet with basic recipes and techniques (written by Amor)

On Saturday we make Cold Processed soaps in the morning, and then play with Melt & Pour in the afternoon.
On Sunday afternoon we unwrap the soaps from their moulds (as they need to be wrapped up warm for 24 hours to cure) and make whipped soap to decorate the bases made on the day before, whether CP or M&P.

An ideal course if you wish to bring a younger member (we recommend over 8 yrs old) with you to help stir and play with cp whipped soaps, and kids love playing with Melt & Pour.  Under 12 yrs Free.
