How to use
Smooth over your body and massage into your skin. Best used after a bath or shower to lock in moisture.

Ingredients
  • aqua (water) - Purified water is an essential component for healthy looking skin and hair, as it cleans and moisturises. It is also necessary to dissolve water-soluble ingredients in a product and therefore forms the base of most of Perfect Potion's products.
  • prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond oil) - Sweet Almond Oil is a light, easily absorbed oil which makes an excellent base for a massage oil. It can also be used to nourish and soften the skin.
  • glycerin, vegetable derived from Palm oil - Glycerin soothes and moisturises the skin. It is a humectant (holds onto moisture) and is readily absorbed into the skin.
  • cetearyl olivate derived from olive oil, palm oil - Derived from olive oil, cetearyl olivate is an emulsifier that is often blended with sorbitan olivate. Together, these emulsifiers help mix oil- and water-based ingredients and help to give a product a luxurious, smooth feel. It also imparts moisturising properties to the skin. Please note this ingredient contains palm oil.
  • cetearyl alcohol cetearyl alcohol derived from coconut oil - Cetearyl alcohol emulsifies and thickens products, and it has an emollient action.
  • sorbitan olivate derived from olive oil, palm oil - Sorbitan olivate is an emulsifier that is often blended with cetearyl olivate. Together, these emulsifiers help mix oil- and water-based ingredients and help to give a product a luxurious, smooth feel. It also imparts moisturising properties to the skin.
  • sodium alginate - Sodium Alginate is a natural thickening and gelling agent derived from seaweed.
  • xanthan gum Also known as corn sugar gum. - This polysaccharide is produced from the bacteria (Xanthomas campestris) being fermented with corn sugar. It is used as a thickener, emulsion stabiliser and gelling agent. It is also often used in foods.
  • sodium benzoate - In the food and cosmetics industries sodium benzoate is used as a preservative, effectively killing most yeasts, bacteria and fungi.
  • tocopherol - Tocopherol is vitamin E and is a strong antioxidant. Vitamin E works to soften skin and reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles.
  • potassium sorbate - Potassium sorbate is used widely in the food and cosmetics industries as a preservative.
  • citric acid - Citric acid naturally occurs in the human body and also in plants, especially citrus fruits. Regulates pH levels and helps preserve products.
  • limonene occurs naturally in essential oils - Limonene is a natural component of essential oils, particularly citrus.
  • glycine soja (soyabean) oil - This non-GMO soyabean oil is the carrier oil for our tocopherol (vitamin E). 
  • boswellia carterii (frankincense) certified organic - Frankincense oil is spiritually uplifting and used in meditation it enhances spiritual wisdom and inspiration.  
  • pogostemom cablin (patchouli) certified organic - The rich, earthy scent of patchouli is grounding, soothing, and especially valuable for 'dreamers' and people who tend to neglect or feel detached from their physical body.  In skincare it is used for dry, cracked or chapped skin.
  • linalool - Linalool is a natural component of essential oils such as Lavender.
  • rose damascena (rose) absolute - Rose absolute is harmonising and comforting.  It is a soothing and calming oil. It represents passion of the spirit.
  • cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon bark) certified organic - The rich, warm, spicy scent of cinnamon bark is warming and comforting.
  • citronellol - Citronellol has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and is naturally occurring in pure essential oils such as rose and geranium.
  • eugenol - Eugenol is naturally occurring in pure essential oils such as clove, basil and cinnamon.
