Description: Clove is a pale yellow oil with a sweet-spicy aroma.

Major constituents: A typical chemical composition of Clove Bud Essential Oil: Eugenol (80-85%), eugenyl acetate (8-12%), Caryophyllene (6-10%), isocaryophyllene (0-2.0%).

Indications: Clove bud oil may be used in a vaporiser or a massage oil to help relieve muscular tension, and rheumatic pain.

Emotions: The fresh scent of clove bud is energising and purifying, warm and sensual. It creates a festive mood and blends well with sweet orange and cinnamon.

Directions: Add 2 drops to oil vaporiser or 2 drops to every 10ml carrier oil, 1-3 times daily. Children: Half the adult dose.

Safety: Not to be used on children under 2 years of age. Use in low dilutions as it may cause dermal irritation.
