Description: Roman chamomile is a pale blue oil with a sweet herbaceous, somewhat fruity-warm and tealike odour.
Major constituents: A typical chemical composition of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil: a-pinene (0.5-10.0%), camphene (0.-0.5%), b-pinene (0-10.0%), sabinene (0-10.%), myrcene (0.-0.5%), 1,8 cineole (0.5-25%), g-terpinene (0.-0.5%), caryophyllene (0-10.0%), propyl angelate (0.5-10.0%), butyl angelate (0.5-10.0%).
Indications: Roman chamomile oil has traditionally been used for its calming properties. Relieves indigestion and helps to calm irritable babies due to tummy upsets or teething.
Emotions: The scent of Roman chamomile is harmonising, serene and peaceful. It promotes spiritual awareness and inner peace.
Skin Care: Roman chamomile oil helps to soothe rashes and irritated skin.
Directions: Adults: Add 2 drops to every 10ml carrier oil or bath. Children: Add 2 drops to bath or 2 drops to a carrier oil, 1-2 times daily.
Safety: Roman chamomile oil is considered to be non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising.
